BabyLove in Toronto/Christen in New Yorker
I only use this blog to write about performance dates, I never write about how hard and lonely and frustrating being a writer and solo perfromer are. I've been very down lately. But I'm here to brag, again. I'm doing BabyLove at The Association for Research on Mothering this weekend in toronto, and my picture was in The New Yorker this week, in the advertorial for The Moth. I know it might be weird to brag an advertorial, but it may be the only time I'm ever in The New Yorker, so I'll take what I can get!

Hello, Christen,
I’ve been at the ARM conference last month in Toronto and saw your show there. I’ve been telling about it to my friends since then. BabyLove is an extremely witty, brave and fun performance. I also see it as a truly feminist work that is so rare these days.
Thank you so much for your performance and your unique talent!
Natalia
